![]() ![]() Some birdseye fabrics are barely identifiable as such, while others are very distinct (like the earlier example in this thread, which is great example of how a birdseye can both be discrete, formal and urbane but still more distinct than your average worsted twill). One thing to consider is the contrast in the threads, which will determine how distinct the weave becomes. I think Birdseye looks great with oxford shirting, which some people would by agree with, but hey it’s all subjective. Strongly disagree that these are more difficult to pair. Nailhead also seems like a nice option but I’ve never seen a suit in that IRL. Good enough for any business, but much easier to dress down than most other styles.īirdseye feels bit more modern, interesting and versatile than your traditional twills, and I strongly prefer it to herringbone. Great weave, an absolute must in any wardrobe. ![]()
